Default Two hours with the new Photon

On Saturday, the 17th, I had the pleasure of sitting down for 2 hrs. with world class driver and designer of the new top touring car, Josh Cyrul. For those who haven't seen Josh' design on the new development of Photon, let me tell you that this is probably, if not-the best work, Josh has done. From top to bottom, this car is unique in Josh's way. The detail, the craftsmanship and the workmanship is by far the best. What do you expect when working with Josh? Nothing but the best. I was lucky enough to sit with Josh, talk about the new design and even hold it. Josh pointed out some really unique things about the car. As they say "a picture is worth a thousand words". I couldn't take any (haha). Not to my surprise, I found out Josh won his main at the Grandslam race at 360 Raceway. This new touring car is definitely going to be worth it's weight in gold once it's released. I would like to take this time to wish Josh and Vince from Top Racing much success with the new car. I know I can't wait for mine.

Good Lucky at the Snowbirds, Josh! PS. I'll send you a couple of clothespins (haha)

You can bet it will be a great car for any form of rubber racing like the scythe already is. I recommend you drive a spool all the time if you race 10.5 and mod on rubber. Lap times are the same but race times are far better with a spool.

I don't know if i allowed to talk about the details I have been given so I will leave it up to josh to talk us through the specs when they are ready. Not long now...

I have talked to him about it but have not seen it. Unfortunatley I race for TOP Australia so I'm not high enuf up the food chain to get anything really juicy like pics. I'm hoping I might be lucky enuf to get one of the pre release kits that usually go around. I got a set of the new arms and they are great. TOP is really starting to go places in OZ and if we can get a sweet new ride I'm sure we will see more ppl come on board. I still think that the scythe is second to none in the turn up and race stakes. No other chassis sticks to the track like glue with little or no setup change every where you go. The new one can only be better!

Few good points.
Tower behind shocks, looks like towers mounted to lower bulkheads, with a graphite cap holding in the diff, and top link mounts (i would hope this is changed to alloy, i hated this setup with the original 415)
Fine shock angle holes.
Kyosho shocks?
Centrepoint steering

Looks good, but doesnt look too groundbreaking from that angle.
