Overall I would say in link configuration it is a step forward from the 101. On 25.5 power it was as quick as my f1r3 but fell a bit short on 21.5. With more time I think It will be comparabe in most outdoor conditions but lacks the extreme adjustability to fit the same range. |

A few posts up there is a pic of Suzuki's 103 has anybody noticed that the rear ball diff halfs seemed a lot thicker on his car what are those is that what is speced on the 103 or is that an option? I looked in the manual and it looks the same as what we currently run but his are noticeably fatter

I took mine out today for some laps, overall it was a postive start. I would suggest glueing the arm inserts in place the o-rings dont seem to do as well as on some other cars. Altough they say the t-bar is for low grip I found it to give less stability and forward traction than the running links on low/med grip asphalft. As expected the transverse battery position give better forward traction with increased entry steering. the inline position transitions quicker and hold tighter though through longer corners.

The real surprise was t-bar setup that was completely useless in the low/med grip condition. Just like before the link config worked well driving like any other modern link car. The t-bar however was faster. With the grip high enough to help with forward traction the t-bar config carried more speed thorugh the corners lapping consistantly .2s faster. This comming weekend I'll up the power to the 21.5 power we run locally to see how it compares with teh added HP.

I get a kick when people in the US complain that 25.5 motors are "too slow" for F1. The ETS has a number of factory drivers in F1 and the spec esc and battery is the Scorpion 50a esc that has a set rpm limiter in it and very little tuning options and the Scorpion 25.5 motor that is a standard motor (not the hot 1s like we run here) and yet they have good turn outs and pro drivers running in the class. Simply amazing.....
