I don't see why not. There is a lot of space. I used what came with the kit.

Hi guys,

so ETS #4 is in the books and I am back with some good news. Managed to win formula class with my TRF103 starting P2.

After I struggled in #2 and #3 I went back to basic (kit setup and parts) and finally my TRF and myself were a great team again.
You can find my setup attached and a chassis focus will follow on redrc as well.

If there are any questions feel free to contact me on facebook or so.

Best regards,
Simon

Looks a bit like the stock Ball Diff I would think.

Agreed

Hi,

Sorry for the late reply.
It is a Stock Ball diff. I Was using a xray gear diff before which also felt good, but always was a little slower.

Best regards
Simon

Simon, i wanted to ask how is the Scorpion esc?

Simon_L 05-23-2019 04:57 PM

Well to be honest I never tried anything else in my formula, so I can't really compare i think.
It feels very nice in track for me, but setting the values to your liking is really a pain. Therefore you need the USB link and a Computer always.

But if you go with the Standard values it should be fine.

Best regards
Simon

Thanks Simon, so no programmer, other than with Laptop? Thats too bad. I may give this a try still, for my Son in F1, he would like to run a round in the ETS.

Simon_L 05-28-2019 10:15 PM

Jes you can only programme it with Laptop and the specific Software.
But to be honest i never ran something else then the Standard programming 🤣🤣

This chassis seems to be doing really well in competition, why is the thread so dead?

Dan 07-10-2019 04:21 PM

Because it costs more than the competition....quite a bit more...so less people own it.

nubs 07-10-2019 04:28 PM

Holy crap. You weren't kidding. Couldn't find anything under 450.

JoeyE 07-10-2019 04:42 PM

I see one for $363.33
