Frank,

What kind of tape are you using to mount the batteries in the car?

It saves the weight of the battery strap and mount, and for most guys, they like the cleaner look.

I hated my b6, the 4.0 buggy is the best car I’ve ever owned. The 4.0 is much smoother and way less twitchy.

Also, I had the b6 for about 3 mos and broke and/or bent several different parts probably 6-7 occasions. Been driving the 4.0 since the day it was released and the only thing I have broken is one of the pills on the rear suspension holder. The stiffezel parts make this thing a tank.

I'm tempted to race my 22 4.0 this weekend for something different. I love the buggy, but parts support near me was terrible.

TLR336003 is aluminum, and the serrations are a little sharper, I'd recommend these.

TLR236001 is steel.

Anyone using the speedline slim wheels yet? Will wedges, staggers and swaggers fit on these?

Thanks!

Also, if anyone has a tire combo for black carpet I'd love to hear it. Played around with some slicks and had rolling issues, then tried someone's wedges (front) and cactus (rear) and it was pretty good, but at that point I was just happy to not be flipping.

Anyone have experience trying the 1.4x3 hole pistons on clay? Looking for a little more low speed steering in tight 180's. Good idea?

Axle height. The 1.4x3 +1s are good but depends on your track.

Just switched to the TLR 22 4.0 after years of running AE. Is there ANY way possible I can run AE wheels on the FRONT of the 22? I really don’t wanna start new buying wheels. I have waaay to many AE wheels

Thanks in advance

It’s possible but you have to grind the inside part of the hex in the AE wheel down. IMO not worth the hassle

Just got a set of those in the mail and mounted up some low profile Cut Staggers...fit great! Ran same tires with Schumacher slim wheels on my B6 so was excited DE made slims for the 22 4.0. I also run them not glued and never had a issue.
