Default Break Setting

Those who run 13.5 what is your break setting? I haven't touched on B64D, but B6.1D is at 75%.

75%, but it depends on your surface and how good your trigger finger is. I set mine, so i can mash the break at full speed and not lock up the car or spin it.

Default Upgrades.

Wondering if I've doomed myself with upgrades. I've built a B64 slipper. It has alum diff housings front and rear, RD center diff upper bulkhead, exotek alum lower bulkhead, associated alum rear hubs, RD alum rack, FRC carbon fiber steering bits, exotek alum wing mount, and titanium shock screws. Will likely run hard springs and roll bar. Hoping bigger shocks aren't necessary with the added weight. I have schelle hubs, short arms, and diff shims on hand. Was it worth it to do all the rigidity upgrades or did I just make the car to heavy for 13.5t?

Thanks. I figured I had them right until I watched a video of a guy saying he installed them 'backwards'.

I would remove all aluminum diff housings, bulkheads, and wing mount for 13.5.

Before building this buggy I've only ran Traxxas monster trucks electric and nitro. There's an indoor track that I will be using the b64 on. Will my power to wieght ratio be compromised such that I wont be able to clear jumps? If the car is only losing acceleration and speed but is still ample for a beginner driver I don't want to remove mods to satisfy the 13.5t. I'd rather train on it and then use a 10.5t and run in a mod class.

Would the MIP drivetrain kit remove enough weight to keep the rigidity mods intact and still run a 13.5t?

it will help a lot with plastic diff gears on 13.5 weight in drive trans is more important, not recommend for B64 in tuff and carpet though.

most mod guys don't use those hop ups. Aluminum wing mount can break shock tower plastic wing mount is cheaper to replace (I know it bring &#128142.

Are you racing it or just driving for fun? Also what surface are you running it on?

depends on the esc. ESC's will have different brake feels to them.

When I posted I just didn't know if most people put the esc in front or in the back of the motor. Glad I had guessed correctly, this is my wiring

Mostly fun. I want to believe I can use it to train for a mod class. Indoor carpet.

Default Transmitter

I want to put exponential to slow down initial steering. I cannot tell if there is any in it I used negative and positive exponential. Which exponential is used to limit initial steering positive or negative? The radio I have is a Graupner and somebody who used it extensively said that exponential was actually positive. I think this situation has messed with my head because I can't tell the difference either way....help please....
