Sorry, I must of misread that, just finished up with the listed setup above. We run this as an entry class on touring nights. I did add 2mm of limiters to the rear and 4 to the front. Ride heights around 16mm.

Question, for you or Frank, how low can I go before the geometries get a little wonky. Some things seem close right now??

I forgot a did have a short stint with 12th scale when OCRC had a carpet track. That did not last long however (the track and the car!)

This question is for everyone who is currently racing their truck what torque rating does your preferred steering servo has as well as it's transit time from side to side?

I like the Spektrum S6240 in all my 2wd cars. Great speed and torque and lighter weight. win-win-win

I also run this servo in all my vehicles, it is fast and has lots of torque.

This servo gets my vote as well. I own several of them and have been very happy with them.

Hi-
Im still trying one thing at a time. I forgot to mention that the truck turns very fast through "S" turns. I am trying to preserve this behavior.

I wonder if there is not enough roll/suspension travel in the truck to absorb rollover? Also would spike type tires be less aggressive than pins?

I am currently running the ball diff in this truck. How often do you all rebuild the diffs? I've heard some say that for the rings, they just flip them over. Is that okay to do? I'd think new bearings would definitely be needed in case they have wear spots on them keeping them from being perfectly round.... correct?

I rebuild when it starts getting "crunchy". If it is still smooth then there is no need to rebuild.

I typically flip the rings and use both sides before replacing. Balls get replaced every time.

Cool. Thank you very much. Looks like a diff rebuild is in my near future.

On a side note... does anyone run a gear diff in this truck?

I did got the Losi gear diff to work alright on high bite clay. Never got the TLR version to work right on dirt. For Astro I hear it works well however.

Looking over most the setup sheets. It seems most are running much higher ride height than most cars/trucks I've owned before. Why is this?
