Can't tell you because I don't know. Every FB group I've ever seen is like the ball cup debate times 10. After 2 days on the B5 nation page I was ready to slit my own throat, so I left. I follow some people on FB but the groups..nope.

I just heard from friends that the guy got "LIT UP"!

Since I have a degree in rctech engineering like the rest of you internet car designers so I put Associated big bores, B5 ball cups, ball studs and rear swaybar on my Schumacher K1! Its dialed on the carpet track as well as the internet

I wonder why there isn't any 1/10 cars that have a pillow ball front end. It's my favorite style for 1/8th scale, but nothing uses it in the smaller scales(that I know of).

The whole "why don't companies come out with new designs" argument..I don't know, why don't we see 5-6 companies making cars that look COMPLETELY different that ALL have a chance to win on any given day? Because in the end, the round wheel is still the best. You can change the spokes, change this, change that, in the end you come back to the same basic design...a round wheel. Who cares who invented it, pick the one who you think refined it the most and GO RACE!

+1 . They also use from what I recall 1/8 style looking wheel mounting setup just with 14mm hexes.

"Now this car was clean sheet thinking"...... That never went anywhere.

Sc10 4x4, Team Magic 1/8 scale, ORB, Predator wheeler. All way outside of the box and all
failures.

Pretty sure the Losi Proto X would be killer on the carpet tracks that weren't around back then.

Agreed, and the JRXS was an amazing engineering feat, thing of beauty, nightmare to work on and didn't compete much on the track...

I imagine it was a loss for TLR and why it was their last TC...

It's way to risky to design outside the comfort zone and that's ok...especially when you have multiple WC's on the shelf already based on the same design theories..
