I'm not bitching, just saying. I will be preordering when it comes up
I consider that a typical AE feature. I normally prefer better equipped kits like the Yokomo YZ-2 CA, but from time to time, hopping up an AE kit can be great fun. I still have my T4 full of red Yaiba Racing stuff in the basement, and I liked my all black T5M. Maybe the time is ripe for a blue JConcepts parts carrier?

1/4milecrazy you come on here calling people names and degrading them all because they have an opinion, or ideas different than yours, which I guess is typical of today's society. I did not put what I do for a living on here wanting or needing your approval or trying to impress you or anyone else, it was to make a point which you evidently missed. I do not want to get into a pissing contest with you or anyone else on here as it is meant as an outlet for a hobby we all enjoy, and have fun doing, no matter what different views or ides people may have.

Is it me, or does the transmission look like it's shorter than current laydown setups?

This is the transmission from the B6.1D. It's being called the layback. Moves the motor further back compared to the laydown closer to the standup while maintaining the laydown feature and ease of diff maintenance.

does anyone have any experience running the current laydown on a dusty loose outdoor track?

The lack of a gear cover on the new B6.1d has me curious if rocks and crap are going to get into the spur/pinion constantly or if the body wraps around close enough that its not needed?

You should be fine, I've ran the laydown outdoors and wasnt an issue. The body is tight to the chassis and should keep the big stuff out.

I'm sure it can be figured it out, I run the Exotek motor fan mount on my B6D...

It may just take a little more ingenuity, or a new mount.
