SO, theoretically, if I did not want to purchase the 25g C mount, couldn't I use small lead or brass weights in the free space right in front of the stock C mount to get the same effect? Or, am I wrong? I only ask because I only will need it maybe 5-6 times a year and do not want to buy a piece that I will seldom use.

Yes, you can do that.

For a handful of races per year, adding weight is fine. The brass mount is a good way to have a standardized setup that you can easily emulate on another car, the weight is a bit further back, and it can be easily added or removed.

Beansor2bacon. The 67mm dog bones are one of the best upgrades you can make to the b6. IMO. They free up the drivetrain so much I felt like i had changed motors. It also makes th car carry a smoother arc through the turns it’s not a upgrade to overlook I’d say

Good info! looking into 67mm now.

To go to 67mm bones/axles and achieve the benefits.....you need 91763 with either 91760 hubs or the Schelle hubs and 67mm adaptors.

Is anyone running the third mounting hole in the rear arms on astro, or is it more useful for lower grip clay tracks?

Just got my brand new b6d in the mail, tower made it hard to pass up at $229 and free shipping. I can't wait to go home and start building!

This was a good deal, just got mine a few weeks ago too. I was able to also earn some ebucks to make the deal even better.

I finished up the build the other day, can't wait to get it on the track! It currently has a tekin rs pro and a Trinity 17.5 but I'm getting a mod motor for it this weekend.

Low grip, when more sidebite is needed

Do you know if the axles included in 91763 different from the stock axles?

Just want to know if it's safe for the transmission gears to run a slipper eliminator running a 13.5T motor in a CARPET track.

I have the Exotek top flite slipper elimator and race 17.5t stock .... would like to run a 13.5T during practice without changing the aluminum top shaft inside the transmission case and replacing the stock slipper assembly.

I did it for awhile and ran the car in mod with a boosted 13.5. Didn't seem to have any ill effects. The top shaft looks almost brand new. I would carry a spare idler just in case, in my experience brakes on carpet do more damage than acceleration.
