Sweep....interesting control foam. What is the control tire in the rear?

Sweep tendroid (or whatever it’s called)....in some ultra soft compound

Interesting. I never had much luck mixing brands of tires. Like JC front and Sweep rear. The rubber is usually very different.

i run the Orange Sweep foams in all my tires front and back.. Best insert out there in my opinion

more rear grip. Makes the rear feel softer. It seems most of the things drivers do are to make rear grip for the laydown car. 3rd hole, 67mm bones, 25 gram brass weight, etc

Also, the rumor is new proto rear arms to move them forward.

Is this third hole in or out?

How would you build a B6 for a small indoor high bite clay track? Start with carpet car and add ball diff? Flat arms? Or start with a B6D and use lay down trans?

I think its cheaper to by the laydown conversion then new arms and a ball diff. You might not even need the laydown though,

the track I drive at , b6d use the gull wing front arms and tower, laydown trans with ball diff. works the best
you can try Zeke's setup on b6 page for MOHR track

Thanks. Running on carpet with a carpet car now but planning to attend a race that is a high bite clay track so trying to decide on converting my car or find a used B6D and go with that as a starting platform.

I would imagine you'll want to be starting with the dirt car but I would ask at the track whats working and get at least 2 of the 3 options in the box. There is a chart in the wiki section from Kody Numedahl that lays it out.

That clears it up. I have the AE aluminum hubs and want to get the 67mm pucks without buying axles or new hubs, so I will order up the BMI inserts. Thank you!

If you do get the BMI inserts, you need to get a 5mm rear hex as they push the hex out wider since the outer bearing shifts with the axle.

a little more rear grip mid to exit

Does this upgrade really help the B6D ran on low to medium traction dirt track? If so...which version is better? The AE or Schelle ?

Just started my B6D build and so far it's much easier than my TLR 22 4.0. Should I use this for stock or mod?! Hmmmm...

17.5 Motor for B6

So I have a Novak Ballistic 17.5 that I want to run on carpet. Stock class. Probably going to use a Hobbywing ESC. Any thoughts?

I'm not racing yet, but want to.
