The guys on the 'On The Tone' Podacast the other day were saying a simple change in tires were bringing their temps down. In saying that I'd still ring HW, sounds like something could be wrong there. I have the same setup and not having any dramas on an outdoor med grip track.

Once you over heat a motor really good for what ever reason, I mean cook it, you detroy the coating on the windings and they will always run hot and eventually thermal. Hate to say it but you may have a practice motor as they will run fine for 5 to 7 minutes but the temps will continuously keep creeping up. Open it up if the windings on the stator are discolored (they will look blue/grey kinda like a black and blue on your arm).

I run the the 1900 smc as well, do you have your sensor wire plugged in? Or updated your esc? I went to the futaba race this weekend and my motor came no where close to getting that hot, you could always shoot Danny at smc a email, and tell him your problem.

A friend had a HW Shortcourse motor that ran really hot. Put his old HW motor in and problem solved. If it is the speedo. That is another thing

Just built a new B3e with a M2C chassis. Chassis seems to be 2mm to long. When its flexs my rear universal falls out. Anyone have or have seen this issue?? (I also have a b3 m2c chassis,it measures same as my stock b3e)

Do you have the B3e or the current B3.1e?

I guess talk to M2C racing about the chassis. Also maybe you can install the new 17mm outdrives into the center diff which is +2mm longer.

Been trying to contact M2C But no response so far but only been a few days. But unfortunately we are leaving in a week for GA(10 HR DRIVE) Guess stock chassis will have to work. Didnt know new outdrives were longer, that could work for sure, thanks for the help!

Default 15mm and 17mm outdrives

hi,
pls tell me which outdrives come to front and rear diffs and which to center diff?
Manual says 15mm outdrives for front and rear diffs and 17mm to center diff.
But... I have in kit included 17mm outdrives 4pcs and 15mm outdrives just 2pcs
So question is - is it a mistake at manual or I have wrong quantity of each outdrives included at kit?

Overthetopracin- if u are going to GA for Wicked, I would bring the M2c B3e chassis with you and see what's going on with it as Mitch with M2c should be there as he usually attends bigger races in the south east.
