Well when I build the diffs for the first time I wasn't sure whats a good way to start. I have 10k, 7k, 5k, 3k laying around. and various shock oils. I was mostly concerned with diff oils though for the first build. I see in the manual it says 555, but most setup sheets I see 995, or 775.

Thanks! I'll definitely start around that, instead of stock... No point immediately checking the diff oil after building it.

Anyone know how mugen diff fluid compares to PT, I used mugen 7k in the front/center and 5k kit fluid in rear. I am in process of changing everything to pt but probably won't get to before the weekend

I've been running tekno for almost 2 years, and crash rather spectacularly at times, and have yet to bend a driveshaft. I have had my truggy flex enough to have my rear driveshaft pop out though.

There's probably a good half inch of play front to rear in the front driveshaft. I actually feel it's too much. How much more do you want to allow for bad landings? Not sure I would call that a weak point of the car. Although I did see a picture of a severely bent driveshaft on FB, but couldn't imagine how the heck the guy pulled that off.
