cool got pics?

I got some stuff I sold so now I can sit down and look over my vehicles more.

I am thinking of getting some more basher friendly electronics, by that I mean waterproof, for at my 1/8s. With Viper effectively not having a 1/8 ESC now, not exactly much choices. So may give the newer Mamba a look that cna do sensored operation now.

Don't get me wrong, the tekins work fine, just wish they were waterproof.

Anyone got any news on what they have found for setup using Tekno springs?

thanks.

how would you say that setup on the shocks would be for loose conditions.

or, maybe a better question, which of the tekno springs you feel best match the performance of the stock springs. And if its not a direct match what do you recommend changing shock wise (say go up 5W oil with X Tekno spring to get some feel as stock shocks, etc)

This set up has worked for me on rough blown out tracks all the way through to hard packed, grooved, smooth tracks. It's a great 'all around' set up. I have increased shock oil weight if it's a smoother, hard packed track but, everything else stays the same.

The "pink" tekno springs are VERY close to the stock spring rate, they are just longer so that you can get the proper ride height and have a little adjustability.

nothing I have heard unfortunately.

you may want to see about running tekno springs.

Sold mine to run the dex8 and desc10 instead as I think will see more turnout for that at the tracks I am looking at for next year.

if anyone needs truggy tires let me know.

What do you mean when you say it didn't work? What didn't work specifically?

maybe the link?

I got it to pull up.

Thats really really cool of them to send out the springs. Maybe they know they need to make some and have something in the works.

I finished installing the electronics on the truggy I just got. Tekin rx8 and a t8 2250. Question is, does the reedy 4600 4s 55C I've been running on my buggy hold up on the truggy?

I'd suggest going with a 6500mah or larger battery personally. Your battery will probably hold up, but if your needed runtime is anything like what I needed (10 minute mains), you may find you would just be scraping by.

Or, you coudl run with doing a "lite" truggy. that is, lighter battery, buggy sized motor, and that battery. I'd bet it would be pretty nimble.
