This truck is brand new. Most people have just gotten them within the past month. People that have set ups are pretty tight lipped about it. You just need to experiment on your own. Rule of thumb is never make multiple changes at once, change 1 thing at a time and make note of the results. Basically keep making Small changes until you feel its where you want it.
For a big track you'll want at least an 18T pinion, and keep the body mounted low & vented so it doesn't catch too much air on the large 1/8 scale jumps. There's a Tekno PDF file on their website called "Set_Up_Guide.PDF" that you can download that will help you understand what changes are good for Bumpy vs. Smooth. The set up guide is an invaluable resource across the board.

There are so many tires to choose from that all work well. You might want to check out City Block 2s, Gridiron 1s, Calibers, Subcultures... Something with a deeper tread. Even Enduros work well in many conditions.

Where on the website is the set up guide located?

Hello,
this is my first post in the forum.
I´m from Austria/Europe and I´m in RC racing almost 4 years.
I joined the hobby really late, I´m 37 right now.
I´m a club racer in a 1:10 scale racing club and run a HB D413 and now I´m interested in a 410.3, cause the distributor is just around the corner at my house.
I really like this forum and I got a lot of informations from here, thanks a lot for that.
Now I hope I can give something back over the time.
Sorry for my english, it´s not the best - but i´ll try to do (write) the best I can.
so long
cheers
Gertsch
same question here, can´t find it on there website and can´t find it trough google neither.

Pink/pink springs, 6x1.5 pistons, 32.5f/27.5r
wheelbase all the way short
7/5/5 in the diffs
3deg of rear toe
2.4 swaybar in the front with neither front or rear bar tightened down with the setscrews on the diff cases
Car was really good, I want to play around more with the rear pills to see what kind of changes they will make but to be honest they are confusing as hell to know what your final values are with each pill setup.
The above changes to the stock setup will get you in the ball park. I ran AKA Enduros to give you an idea what the track was like. I would like to get a bit more high speed steering out of the truck but that's all I really felt it needed, I might try more kickup in the front this week to see if that gives me what I want.
