I was worried at first aswell but hasn't done any damage to my cars. I usually hit it with the air compressor first. Blows any dust and loose dirt away. Then spray Simple Green onto the car. Avoid electronics and spraying directly at bearings. Then blow off with an air compressor. Repeat again and if necessary use a toothbrush or small brush to loosen some of the stubborn dirt off. Then spray some SG onto a rag and wipe the car over.

Air compressor gets 90%. Toothbrush for nooks/crannies. Then a slightly damp towel to wipe things down. I've never needed to get things saturated with water/cleaners to get things clean.

I always used baby wipes it shines while it cleans and gets in the hard places

Tooth brush and other brushes little dawn and water drying right after with a rag. Don't soak.
