Does the FS have a new body or will an SP fit? Need to know before I order a new body to get sprayed.

In a nut shell, the kit includes a new chassis, bulkheads for the shock towers, upper and lower diff housings (front and rear), upper deck, shorter rear shock bodies, front and rear springs (although most guys already have them), center driveshaft assembly, screws, new body since the car is 10mm longer (called the Cannon), front sway bar kit, new motor mount, new slipper disks, and while I'm looking at the instructions , there are some bearings and new bevel and diff gears with it as well, and looks like it comes with some ball studs, ball ends, aluminum shims, and servo saver set (same as the current one). So it has quite a few parts, some new, some the same as before (but good to replace while its apart)

I believe the kit RETAILS for $220.00 You should be able to pick it up cheaper through your local LHS or online shop.

Also, Kyosho America recieved a shipment of the FS conversions, so they should be available at your favorite dealer!

Does the Proline wheel conversion kit for the RB5 work for the SP as well?

Default FS Conversion Kit

Hi Guys,

We set up an FS Conversion Pre-Order link. The kits should arrive at Speedtech early next week. As soon as they arrive, we'll be ready to ship them out.

Have a great weekend,

I'm not aware of anyone that makes one in delrin. I dont think its needed though. The Kyosho spurs are fine. I have 50+ runs on mine with no problems. Make sure your mesh is set real good. If its too loose, it puts more stress on the teeth and if a chunk of dirt gets in there you're going to have problems. I set my mesh with about a paper thickness of room between the gears. Runs quiet, gears last.

What inserts (front and rear) are you guys typically running on mid to high bite tracks?

Proline 2 stage in the rear. Front it depends....I've used cut down two stage in the fronts, sometimes 3/4 buggy rears, sometimes stock inserts that come with the tires. I like a firmer front tire, feels more consistent to me on high bite tracks.
