Yeah I saw that as well. I am thinking that they couldn't get some extra SP rims at the time of the test as they were back ordered for a while (it looked like they had multiple sets of tires mounted up). Using the regular Lazer front wheels will add 10mm to the front end width. I have never tried it but maybe I will just for fun and see how it feels.

Is the regular RTR Lazer a decent racing machine? At only $200, I'm tempted to get one.

wow 10mm of extra track width man thats alot i would definetly think that would change how the buggy turns. it would add stability but i would think it would take away steering.

There are a few guys that run them at out track. They have a plastic chassis that for some reason make them near indestructible. Speedtech sells them for $240 or so WITH a 3200 Orion Lipo. They're not on the website, but he does usually stock them in the store. It's some promo that Kyosho has been doing, but it won't be forever...so jump on it if you can.

Just call Jeff or shoot him an e-mail.

Default InfernosOnly.com

Has anyone purchased any ZX-5 parts from InfernosOnly.com? They seem to have alot of ZX-5 SP parts with good size photos and good prices but I haven't heard of them until I came accross it googling for SP Knuckles. If any, please post your experience with them, shipping fees and where they are located. Thanks.

Looks like FS will be released as a conversion kit for RTR or SP. There are also a few other new part goodies.

Can't wait to hear what people think after they get this conversion. I really am not caring for saddles but if it's better it's better.

Switching to LiPo is going to make such a BIG difference to the weight distribution on the car that worrying about the difference between a stick and a saddle NiMH chassis becomes almost pointless.

At least with the stick pack car you have a wide selection of high performance LiPO packs to choose from - in saddles you have 1 option right now AFAIK.

Actually there are two options right now. ProTec makes an OK 3600 saddle pack, and TrackPower makes a killer 4900! The TP would be my 1st choice as it comes in a hard case and for $119 (CAD) it's a pretty good deal.

I like the stick pack, but I did have to spend a lot of time finding the right spots for all my lead weights to balance the car nicely. If kyosho comes out with this saddle conversion I will definitely try it out.

Later,
