Hi could u give me a breif rundown of which CA rear ends parts to swap in for a DTM when the grip is high as you said?

Do you guys just use the older non-offset CA 0deg hubs, CA rear camber plate then remove DTM bulkhead/shocktower brace and gtg? The CA gearbox has a tab and 2 screws to secure to the camber link plate, do you run with no gearbox rear bracing when you remove the dtm brace for high grip?

I wonder if the world car didn't have more carbon/graphite parts like castor and front hubs.
Got the aluminium chassis baces too (top plate mounts), an expensive option.

What I liked about the original YZ2 (and the CA to some extend) was the fully equiped car out of the box for astro/carpet and I seem to find that in the CA2 plus lots of little improvements here and there.

Hi I'm trying to update a YZ2 I have never ran.

question?
Can you not run the steering lock to lock?
The tie rod hits the spring before you can lock it. or do I have something built wrong.

We use the gearbox that came with the ca and screw it to the camber mount as all did prior to the dtm. These rear hubs are tangibly faster than anything else when grip gets really high: https://www.amainhobbies.com/yokomo-...-415rs/p509096

Something is wrong. Steering blocks should be able to go lock to lock w/o rubbing on anything.

haven't see his issue on rubbing spring, however, I have seen an issue where the steering can bind depending on the servo horn and servo used.

Basically the ball end that articulates from the servo horn can hit the upper brace in the place where it is already recessed to allow free movement. say this when I went with the Ruddog servo horn on the 20mm setting with a protek 160T servo. I had to dremel it ever so slightly.

New DTM2 announced:

Yokomo YZ-2 DTM2 2WD buggy kit -NeoBuggy.net ? Offroad RC Car News

Price is way up there, $415 on amain, hopefully that is just initially what they are just throwing up out there.

talked them and it sounds like the price will be the price.

Need to really read the breakdown on this but initially not sure I am seeing $415 of car there.

Yeah not a 2wd, even with Yokomo quality. Funny thing, yz-4 sf’s were $489 a week ago, now $529. Also, if you search Yokomo the new dtm doesn’t show up.

Yokomo's new slogan, "Working to make Xray look affordable"

The CA2 is currently at $415 as well and even as someone who has ran Yokomo buggies since the first plastic chassis B-max2's were available stateside, I would struggle to make the case to anyone looking for a carpet/turf car to buy it at that...

Its the exchange rate as the US dollar last been fallen off. If you want a shock go to Mibo and see what a $30 part costs now in US money about $46.

It says the DTM to comes with the new S3 rear arms?
I wonder if it's S4 arms in the standard length

lol, well for now you still get 2 parts for the price of one xray one like a-arms

yeah that's a tough sell there. So if we figure about an 8% increase based on the amount the YZ4 went up, looks like the vehicle would have cost about $382 or so if you take that percentage off the current price.

still up there..

I too, am a little surprised/disappointed in the steep price of the new cars.
