Lost an outdrive bearing after 500ish laps. Love the pretty yellow avid bearings, and back on the track today with a 17.5 and a WTF installed. Wow, that thing is sweet! That's one of the reasons I wanted to go to a midmotor was to hopefully the motor would get less dust, but also so I could blow a fan on it. I don't use a temp guy, but as an old nitro guy, the finger test tells me all I need to know. Diggin' the WTF fan!

And, also have to add I topped my best hot lap time as well as my best ten minute run using the 17.5 today. Grr. My previous times were with a 10.5. Today though traction was stellar, due to rain this past Saturday. Also traded the white rear springs for the longer truck green springs. Truck was ripping today! lol

okay without going thru all 220 pages, quick question.....rear arms, hard or soft, benefits of each, running on 2 indoor tracks, 1 high bite clay running dirtwebs/electrons and the other ozite carpet running slicks.

i see setups with both types, currently running soft but have hards in the bag.

thanks ahead of time

The tend to land better and more predictable. The stock arms have a plenty of flex which helps in med to lower bite situations but causes a weird feel in high grip tracks.
Hard will take away some grip and are more fragile.

On high grip tracks use hard arms all around. Even on med-high grip.

Has anyone bought the shock spring cup set lately? Ever since I built my b6 I've been wanting to replace the cups with the new ones, they seem tighter and my truck is always having a spring pop off the bottom cup but not sure if its a running change or not.

It'll be a running hmage but my guess is that'll be a while before old stock of that particular part is gone. Best bet would be to order direct from AE but even then no guarantee. I'd imagine it's a not a high selling item.

looking for any help here. The rear of my truck is a little lose. I've tried many things to dial it out. Shocks, wheelbase etc... Running mod. I have the three gear in and i was thinking of switching back to the 4 gear to calm it down on the rear a little.

Think this would work? Anyone noticed the differance?
Thanks

I was experiencing this myself this worked really well for me. Layed the rear shocks down. Lowered the rear roll center -2 on camber link. With 4mn washers under the ballstud Shortened the camber link also.

Mount the shocks inside on the tower, inside on the arm. 1.7 Pistons, 32.5 oil. 1 limiter 34.75mm exposed shaft. Green truck rear spring.

Camber mount down with 2mm washers. Middle hole on rear hubs or the inside back row on alum hubs with 3mm under stud.

I also prefer the brass c mount with the 3 gear.
