I will say this, truck was DIALED right out of the box, can't wait to get some more time with either that one again or my own. I expect to see them in the store on Wednesday.
did you find a better gearing choice? I am working on finding the ideal gearing with the tekin 10.5, I am at 20/78 its okay but need more top end. then at 22/78 my rs gen2 would get to 159 in under 3 minutes.

A 10.5 without any massive timing or boost needs about 25/78 to start.

Thanks I will give that a try next. I couldn't tell you how much timing I have, besides the timing is set to "preset 3" on the rs gen2

At OCRC either box setup or Kyosho Gold. Lots of setups on Petit RC.

Hey everyone,

I'm starting to get everything together and build the truck. I need your guys help in determining what motor is best. At my local track ST is an open track. I want to run a 13.5 motor. The problem is I can't figure out which motor is best.

-13.5 Maxilla ROAR spec D4 Or...
-13.5 D4 1S Short Stack

Which is best for ST? I run outdoors at a sugared blue groove track, medium sized. Thanks

I would say Maxilla myself, but if a huge flowing track maybe the 1s.
