Now if you see a company that runs a bunch of factory drivers in stock and heavily promoting these wins, it is highly likely that they are pulling the good stuff for these team drivers.

This is more obvious in on road.

Go to the nats and you'll see the fastest stock guys working on their motors, timing, gearing (changing the rotors in their sealed motors though the back) as well as cycling batteries, seeing what is the best of the very best and going faster than just about anything you can buy off the shelf.

Go look at the guys running mod and you'll see guys running newer motors but not gearing them to the point they blow up and some guys running older batteries because they aren't as hard to drive with. Some speed control manufactures have special esc's that are more efficient so they run cooler, but for the most part, everything is standard stuff. The top guys aren't going to notice whether their sponsors sent them all their stuff or it was just taken off the shelf at a hobby shop.

^^^+1 Just because a bridge fell because of resonance frequencies doesn't mean your car handles worse for the same reason.

first thing i do when i get a kit is dump the entire box into my wifes cauldren and boil everything. shocks, wheels, manual and all. i cant stand resonating frequencies in the sweeper section. this is the only way to eliminate reverberation

Great idea, make sure you salt the water as well, you don't want those parts sticking together.

Rarely have I seen a thread with so many pages lacking in rational thought. Congratulations. This place is an intelligence vacuum.

It is a thread about a Team Associated vehicle. If you were looking for intelligence, you clearly were coming to the wrong place to begin with.

If you really want to see some low intelligence, check out the Serpent 2wd buggy thread. Some real window lickers there. Mostly, the Florida guys.

Wildcat, I will come to arizona, get some green tea, and leave. Don't you tempt me.

See what I did there?

But there are 2 facts about the Serpent buggy that nobody can argue.

1.) Most 2wd buggy for the money, hands down.
2.) Best ball cup design ever on a 2wd buggy.

The other facts you can argue til you are blue in the face, but in FL, the results aren't lying
