Does anyone know if the 22 1.0/2.0 rear hubs will work on the rear of the 4 when it comes out?

A bullet with the separate "bird cage" looking spring. This is in contrast to something like this where the male bullet is all one piece.

Does not look like it from this pic:

Looks like the 22-4 hubs have horizontal ball studs, while the 22 has vertical ball studs.

Honestly, back to back testing, I personally had much more success OVERALL with good high quality gold bird cage connectors, (seems like electric also flow better around all those edges too than single solid piece, but that is another discussion, another thread) than solid piece connectors.

Also I never did like solid piece ones that just slide in and out easily as they wear over time, as the bird cage for me (good high quality decent ones, that we replaced as needed) held up sooo much better time to time, with much stronger holding firmer tension on the packs. I think they will work great on the 4wd, and the like without any issues whatsoever.)

I've never seen Dakotah have a problem with his bird cage connectors used on his cars, as good high quality ones taken care of and replaced as needed, lasts a VERY long time and hold tension much better as well than their solid counterparts.

Easier to re-set the tension and works without fail time to time. No issue whatsoever. (The corrosion or high resistance, never an issue and not the case with ours used.)

Again, it comes down to the personal preference of the driver that uses them. Dakotah likes to use what works best for him. I would not be surprised to see some pro driver prefer a solid piece or a bird cage type EITHER way. They like to use what works best for them, and most comfortable with.

Std 22 rear hubs have a much different offset for where the hinge pit goes though and would drastically change the position of the axle and bone to outdrive interface. They will not be interchangable with 22-4 rear hubs.
