This has been gone over a few times but I wanted to add some more clarity to this.

RM yes you need the insert that you thread into to hold the front block in place.

MM you tune antisquat with the shims that go under the block just like the RM setup. They have different thickness inserts for MM though as the tranny rests on this insert of MM. If you don't put the corrent insert in that matches the antisquat you will raise or lower the transmission in that area and you don't really want to do that so getting the correct pivot insert to match your antisquat is pretty important when running MM.

Those are just to shim the arms. I normally run my arms forward. The shims are needed as the gap beween the pivots will change depending on the toe settings you run. Run 3 deg you will need more shims then if you run 5 deg of toe, so shim to take out excessive play. Again I shim my arms forward for RM motor setups.

Default Exotek steering rack and Spektrum servo S6040

My 22 2.0 has the Exotek steering rack installed.
The mounting flange on the servo has a small triangle that interferes with the flat mounting surface of the servo brace.

What is the trick to installing the Spektrum servo?

What size grub screws are being used to fit the holes?

Thank you Wildcat for helping me .. providing the link to Sakcville RC. <--Answered all my questions.

After posting my request for instructions, I emailed Exotek and they provided this image.

Instructions from the Exotek for the steering upgrade.

So has anyone checked to see if the 22.4 steering rack will work in a 22 2.0?

It won't fit.

P.S. If you can make it fit, you deserve an 'A' for shop class
