I'm a very patient person but I'm getting a little disappointed with the way HB is handling the release of this kit. If HB wants to keep the interest up they need to give up info more frequently. I know they don't want to release the kit until it's right but how much more testing is really necessary? Ty's killing the field with it! Too much more and sales will be headed elsewhere!

In a recent video, Torrance stated that the kits were done, they were only waiting on instruction manuals and box graphics. I think that was 2 or 3 weeks ago.

Hell, next time HB should hit me up to design their manuals and box art!
I'll bang it all out in record time and get it to the printers, ready to go on press immediately! It's what I do!!! Lol

For some other companies I've talked with it typically took a couple weeks to design accurately, a couple to proof up and get printed, and then a couple to make it through packaging. So, 5-7 weeks from start of design of it for the other companies. Hopefully no longer for HB and they're already part way through it.

That's about right. Thus, why it is important to get the Manual going as soon as the final production specs are set. If done in this order the printed materials are usually ready and waiting for the final product to arrive.

I'd offer to help write the text but most manuals don't even have text anymore.

So when this come we can have a 2 short packs (4s), 4x4, 3 metal diff 1/10 buggy?

Sudendly i like the 4s idea to make another speed freak rc.

Tired of 1/10 buggy sadle packs 2s for racers, only!! Speed freaks and basher's need finally a good 1/10 buggy platform!

The battery options are standard saddle configuration or a single shorty lipo. No 4s option.

I'm quite adept at writing copy myself and write with the perspective of the end user so as to keep it concise and technical without making it boring. I wrote and designed 5 manuals for Bob Long and most of my ideas are now featured in most high end marker manuals.

I had a HB TCX touring car and it took forever for it to be released. You know what the next hurdle will be? Lack of parts.

Amen. I mentioned that about 10 pages ago.

This has a mess written all over it. Bigfoot does not exist.
