Hmmm... nice clean looking chassis upgrade from Exotek.

Decisions, decisions.... I'm torn if should keep the D413 or switch to the XB4

Gonna let my son try driving my 413, so I'm gonna throw a 13.5 motor in it. What spur and pinion would I need

Man that exotek chassis looks freaking awesome. I'm still on saddle packs though.

The chassis is on my to do list in the next couple weeks. The carpet season is here now and this will be my first attempt at it with this 4w. Was considering going to a xb4 because it seems to be a jack of all trades car but just hate the price of replacement parts for their cars. It looks like it is possible to use the upper bracing as well if a stiffer chassis is desired. Kinda surprised Exotek has not released a center slipper yet. HB seems to be dragging there feet on releasing one.

Has anyone tried the electronics with the esc in front of the motor as well as trying it behind the motor? If so, was it a noticeable difference? I understand the implications of the weight distribution differences, I was just wondering if there is a noticeable feel in the car under real world conditions? Thanks in advance.

I've broken a couple stock front top decks: does any company sell a metal version? Any 'wide' versions I've found seem to be for the extended chassis. No, I don't want to get that new Exotek chassis just to avoid using the front brace

For me it calmed down the car slightly but definitely jumped better I'm guessing it's from less weight/front end scribbling on face of certain types of jumps

There is an exploded view and complete parts list at the back of the manual.

I cut my own a little wider out of carbon fiber left overs.

I was lucky enough to run a pre-production setup for them to test and I was very impressed with how well the buggy performed in a variety of surfaces from loose and bumpy, to carpet offroad. No complaints about it one bit.
