Does anybody have video of this thing running on lower bite surfaces? All of nats/worlds/reedy were pretty high bite.

Wow indeed! What about the front and rear diffs? Any chance a setup sheet for Ty can be shared to soften the pain of an extended delay?

for the front we run either 10k or 15k; rear is either 2k, 3k, 5k; center ranges from 50k to 300k. it all depends on track conditions. 100k is the most commonly used in the center.

I'll try to post the latest setup. it has been evolving rapidly.

I don't have a video but I've run it on loose track conditions. going lighter on the center diff works wonders.

Yup. I'm so eagerly awaiting and wanting this but if it ends up not being released for some reason or another, the XB4 will be in hand in a heartbeat. The XB4 was based in the 410 but they addressed all the weak points and made refinements throughout to make it one of the best wheelers of all time, possibly the absolute best.

I designed the aluminum caps myself but since time was short between the nats and the worlds our factory couldn't make them in time. ProLine did us a HUGE favor by offering to make them for us hence I told them to feel free to etch the PL logo on them. we have a great relationship with PL with Ty driving for them and us.
torrance, when the kit is released, will HB have aluminum option caps, or will PL sell them?

I think Torrence means the aluminum caps will be included in the kit stock.

Thank goodness my AE B5 will arrive Feb 6, it will help keep my mind off this for a while.
Someone at HPI better get their head out of you know where!
