Anyone know of an alternative for the outer hinge pins other than getting the whole hinge pin kit.

I wish there was one I go through front hinge pins. Went and practiced tonight ran for about 15-20 minutes bent both front hinge pins and 2 screws in the carriers. Track has a new layout with 2 crazy triples..... My car wants to jump to the right every time... think I need to add weight opposite side of the battery and balance it out some or something weird is going on. Cartwheeled a lot tonight.

I wonder if there is access to the bottom of the ball stud holes so we can slot the base of the ball stud and screw it out from the bottom if we break one off?

Hi!!
I have just picked up a tidy used d413 with the carbon plus 4 chassis..
Ran it a few times and the car is pretty steady..
I would like to know if anyone has come across a setup for a bumpy, low grip track.
They are all pretty much the same here in Australia.. Thanks in advance for any suggestions

IF your car does not have the 1.7 , 1.6 pistons yet you might want to start there. They were a good change for me . I used the reedy race set up from the website , but used 60k in the center diff after trying 100 and 80 . Everything else was per the sheet and I never changed a thing on the car other than softer springs when the track really blew up .

Carpet season has been hard on my front brace: after snapping two I decided to try the Warny version. It's the same thickness, but twice as wide behind the steering-post crossbar (where the stock ones seem to snap).

Warny on top and stock on the bottom:

Just after ordering this I found out a local racer makes the front+rear brace set in aluminum now: if I had known that I would have tried the metal version first.

I`ve been looking for these HBS114112 for a while now and every time I check a site they get pushed back another month. Its getting frustrating............ I cant wait till Tekno puts out a 1/10 4wd buggy.

For stuff like this just add it to your cart as a backorder (i.e. Amain/Tower) and you'll be in-line for when they come in. You'll get an email saying they're holding a set for you to buy in the next couple days... while some other poor sap keeps periodically checking websites and hoping to find some in-stock

I've ordered 3 sets of these caps so far (for myself + friends) and never had to wait more than a couple weeks.

Anyone drilling out the included piston blanks? My blanks don't have the bevel. Are you guys running them without a bevel?

Bevel? Do you mean a taper?
