dogbones and outdrives on this car are pretty standard so rebuilding them will be comparable to other cars. the 1-piece gear/input shaft/drive cup has shown no signs of wear from all the running we've put into it. although that one piece will probably cost more than the typical input gear, we've eliminated a bunch of other parts in the drive line - there are no pins, cv cups, couplers, set screws, rings, etc. cost as a whole should be similar to others but reliability is much higher because there are very few parts.

For the rear it has 12mm hexes. It is compatible with all the usual 12mm hex rear wheels (AE, Kyosho, TLR, PL, JC, AKA, etc.)
For the front the kit includes BOTH 12mm and 9.8mm hexes. The included HB wheels uses the 12mm hex. The included 9.8mm hexes are compatible with the TLR-22 2WD buggy front wheels.
That's not a typo - the offset compatibility is with the 2WD TLR-22 front which PL, JC, and AKA have versions of. The usual 4WD fronts from the major wheel companies can be made to fit but the hex fit will be a little tight and the front total track width will end up a little narrow. for some reason the hex on the TLR-22 is 9.8mm and the rest of 4WD wheels are 9.5mm. Why there's a 0.3mm difference between the 2WD and 4WD i don't know. The wheel offsets are different as well but during the design phase I studied all the available wheels and I preferred the TLR-22 offset.

In the pictures, there appears to be significant toe-in - is there 3-4* on that setup?

In Australia we run 17.5 blinky. Just wondering if there will be option spur gears or if something could be modified to fit?

what final drive do you run for 17.5 blinky?

Considering this car is fairly close to being available could we get some setup sheet info soon?

currently the largest pinion that the car will accept is a 38T which will yield a final drive of 6.27. hopefully this can get you in the ballpark in the beginning. if a 4WD stock class does emerge then we'll make a smaller spur. for now however there hasn't been many tracks that run a 17.5 blinky 4WD.
(for reference the D413 comes with a 72T spur and the gearbox ratio is 43/13)
