Sorry, we have not had a chance to run the Pro 2 motor yet. A small rock found its way in one of the spurs and so with just one spur gear for one car left and no spares available yet we decided to hold off on the Pro 2.

Default ARM Mount clarity

Torrance (guys),
I looked through the forums and did not find info on this. Maybe I missed it, but here we go. Can you please give better clarity on the set up sheets on how (FR) and (FF) are interpreted? The manual shows it one way, but Ty's set up sheet shows the opposite. The image posted shows some confusion. Pleas let me know. Thanks guys.

They are just two different set ups. The out of the box build set up is using 8 degrees of kick up while Ty at the nationals used 12 degrees. If you look at the image that you posted. On Ty's sheet the 8 degree option is listed 4 above what Ty used. Depending on your track conditions and driving style, you can pick the kick up that works best for you.

I am in reference to the set up sheet that is included in the manual. I copied the wrong image in my attachment. Although the arm mount references are correct. The car build is very similar to the set up (Included) sheet in the back.

I think I understand your question, but please correct me if I'm wrong. The setup sheet on page 36 of the manual is also a different setup then the manual kit build instructions. Another example is on the front spindles. Instructions call for 1mm washer on top and 1 mm washer on the bottom, while the setup sheet says 2 mm washer on top. The instructions and setup sheet don't match.

This can happen with any manual build vs. what the setup is in the back of the book. Setups are always changing. It might have been an oversight. Also the person that does the instructions has a car for visual reference. He might have seen something different then what the setup sheet shows and went with this setup. You best bet is to go to ty's page and start form there. As this will always have the most up to date, and you can get a base setup for most common conditions.

I have never used the manual when doing the setup of the car. As this setup might be older. Ask your local fast guy or search online for posted setups. Its always your best bet.

Just my 2 cents

Copy that guys. Just wondering. I followed Ty's Reedy set up. Car is hard to drive. It's darty, and difficult to get on power coming out of turns. Trying to figure this out. Not sure what it might be. Been playing with diff oils. So just wondering.
