Default Kyosho Spring Rating

I'm looking for a chart that has the springs ratings. I've found a few but so far no 1/10 scale charts just 1/8. Anyone know where I can find one? I'm still seeing what uncle google says.

whats the deal with the center diff. this is getting crazy. kyosho tells us by mid to the end of march and here we are months later and still not even a hit of it coming out. I honestly would have not bought this car back in march if i wasnt given that information by someone from kyosho. i even sent in a email in which I still havent got a answer too as of yet. anyone heard anything they would like to share on a upcoming date that they have heard. hate to sound like a grumpy man but we pay high dollar for the kyosho name brand and they cant seem to keep up with companies like durango or team C for that matter that have released center diffs recently. rant done lol

Default Pinion Help

Guys

Just got a 2nd hand zx6 and was wondering what size pinion is most commonly used with a stock spur and a 17.5 stock motor. sorry for the stupid question but his is my first 1/10th buggy. Any other tips on setup etc would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Are you running in a stock class of some kind?
I can't imagine running a wheeler with a 17.5 but if you're going that route I'd advise taking the spur down to 75 or 72 and pairing that with something like a 29T and go up if need be while temping between runs. But seriously even a 13.5 can seem sluggish in a wheeler.

17.5 wheeler is a very popular class in Australia ('Straya). Not sure where Pegger is from but he could be from the land down under, where women glow and men plunder.

Ha Ha, Very funny and your right. get your crap together Kyosho or I am done with you. there are to many other companies that actually care about there customers and giving them everything they need to compete at the highest level. Your team drivers have been using them for over 9 months now and you cant get them out to the public. #getyourcraptogetherkyosho

I dunno, not sure the car needs a center dif. I whoop cars with them all the time with my box stock ZX6 every week. I'm not against it mind you, but it's not core critical.

depends on driving style. I personally need a center diff. not having one on medium bite to high bite tracks is a big disadvantage for me. even in my xb4 my laps times are way more consistent and faster with with a center diff specially in the sweepers and comers.

I understand the loosen slipper part but what do you mean about UNPINNED? do you remove the pin in the slipper? wouldnt that cause it not to work or catch, help me understand what you are talking about. thanx

If you remove the pin from the Kyosho 4wd slipper, it allows the front and rear outdrives to move independently. So front and rear drivetrains are only attached by the friction on both sides of the slipper.
So with a loose unpinned slipper, on-power, the rear part of the slipper slips and most of the power goes to the front, much like a 3rd diff.
You can also fine-tune it by using different slipper pads, with Kyosho you have white and red pads.

Hope this is clear, as you can see english is not my first language.

If you unpin the slipper you will also need to add a small piece of fuel tubing
or an oring down in the diff cup or the front driveline will move back far enough
to fall out.

Thats what "slipper Type" means on the setup sheet.

Car works WAY better without the pin.
