i run it on astro, and although it is smooth and easy to drive, it doesn't have the punch/acceleration i'm looking for, even with a 5t. i was thinking the gear diffs would get it off the line and out of the corners faster. running akimoto's astro setup w/ proline pins in back and shu 2wd pins in front.

The ultimate goal of there being so many tuning options is to allow you to balance the car whichever way your prefer, correct? I haven't installed anything yet but got out my scale. My original idea was servo and motor on left side and battery and esc on right. Well according to the scales that wouldn't be very well balanced, not even close. What I did find would be balanced(speaking left to right bias) was motor and esc on left with esc up front and battery and servo on right side. Trouble is I haven't seen a single setup like this... Anybody have anything to add to my theories?

To swap the servo over you need to remove the little lungs with thread in so they sit flush, I bolted through with nuts on top, used them to secure some lexan which holds the wiring nice and neat

Good to know, and I'm guessing the difference between rear and forward motor is typically traction levels? Seems I see low traction setup running front motor, and high bite running rear. I personally run on about 50% low-med grip and %50 high grip so not sure where I should be
