No need to explain. Performance and function before looks always. Its not gonna keep me from buying one or two:nod: on a side note the nb48 body is the baddest buggy body out on the maket. Great job on that one :D

I personally love the look and the awesome performance is just an added bonus. Mine should be here today. Can't wait to build.

If I can get Mullet out to Mikes today( one of the most badass tracks in the US) I'll talk a video and give you guys an objective review on how it handles vs my dex408t.....

Did anybody actually order a truck from Tower Yesterday??? I called this morning to see if my backorder was pulled before the ones for sale came on line. And was told that was wrong what I saw online, and they don't even have the kits in there warehouse yet. And that they expect them in either today or early next week.

I will put it out there: if you ordered one yesterday and get it shipped before anyone who backordered it, we all hate you.

I wish the 150amp HobbyWing esc's were a little smaller. IMO a descent esc shouldn't cost $200+, then watch them go up in smoke, it's bs.

This the one you are referring to?

was checking out the site as it has some Tekno gear there too with some discount codes and they also sell hobbywing. Looking at the falcon site hobbywing has like 2 types of 150A escs?

Also seems funny how the companies with the "best customer service" also tend to have the most problems. Maybe due to all the practice they get at fixing customers broken stuff....

lol thats pretty funny right there!

Part of the price you pay if you go with tower. I ordered mine to get discounts (the SCT410) last year and it ended up shipping after several others who ordered weeks after me did. But, saving $$$ was useful.

Towers standard discount now is like %15 pretty much.

It would look like that if it looked like it was going horizontal, but it looks tilted up looking at the sky. I can deal with the skinny aspect, but I hate that trapped rat look.

Oh well, I'll just have to find a way to get around it, since it will be quite a while before proper fitting aftermarket body is available. The body is not going to stop me from getting it. I have ideas.

If all you want is the truggy, it's 10% standard and 12.5% if you use a SS code.

that would be Randy Pike on the Gen2 thread....lol. I've had 7-8 (lost count) crap out this year. 3 in the first 10 seconds of turning them on.

ha ha ... Now that's funny, right!?

Bash us all you'd like. If our stuff was so bad, the top pro drivers in the wrold would not be running it. Those guys don't run stuff because they have to, they run it because the know it works.

I'm looking forward to this truck, something finally designed to be electric first from the ground up.

mechanic_dan 01-10-2014 08:56 AM

I run the Hobbywing 150A sensored in my EB48 and love it. I am going to run it also in my ET48. Great ESC.:spidey::batman:
