Thanks for the explanation help people. Any idea how long a 4300mah 6s would last on a 1550kv motor?

Ran one pack through and that's enough. This thing is phenomenal. No doubt its going in the A this weekend. Unfortunately it rained last night so track is real high grip. Im guessing the rear is going to be a bit loose once it dusts up but we'll deal with that then. Awesome! Very confident in it. I know i was turning sub buggy times right off bat. Pushed a little on the off camber but i can't get crazy with it until full size pack comes. Running a light shorty pack and it very well could be back/too light. With 10/10/5 i was nose high and wheelieing in a few heavy on power sections so i may bump it down to 7k. Impressive!

1/8 Truggy Tire Blowout - TONS - ProLine AKA JConcepts

If any one needs truggy tires and wheels new and used get them from this guy (weirdodude13). Just got my tires in that I bought from him (2 full sets) and they were advertised as 75% good and they were more like 90% good. The prices are cheap cheap and the shipping is super fast. Get them while they last. I may order more after seeing these.

Hey, we don't have enough ep Truggys to run alone so we must run with the Nitros. ( 20min finals ) At the moment Ive been using 2 x Turnigy nano-tech 6600mah 2S2P 65~130C, I get 30min in practice and around 23/25min in race conditions.
To close for comfort, looking for longer run time, has anyone tried ProTek R/C "Supreme Power" 4S - 14.8V, 6700mAh, 100C or 2 x LRP LiPo Competition Car Line Hardcase 7200 - Big Mama - 100C/50C - 7.4V ???? If so, what run time do they give you under race conditions ???

I'm running TrakPower 4S/14.8V 6700mAh 90C. I've never pushed it past 20min since we were doing controlled practice.

Just got my kit from Tower together. It had the original diff shims in it. The way it felt correct was both shims opposite gear in rear and one (all I could fit) opposite gear in front. I contacted Tekno and they replied in less than 20 mins that they were sending me replacements! Awesome! Am I taking a risk running with the original shims? I just got it together and I cant freaking wait to run it, but if it's going to destroy something.....

Ill probably run it anyway!!

The recalled part was TKR5145 (go inside the diff under the sun gear see manual page 4) not TKR1222 (which are slid over the outdrives to adjust the ring and pinion gear mesh see manual page 5).

If you're getting that from the 2x 6600 Turnigy packs, try 2x 7200 SMC packs, which will be better the whole run. That should give you aprox another 10% so another 2 min or so.

Run times vary a lot based on driver and track and electronics. When I did my EB48 on higher bite big outdoor I was able to make 20 min with a 6500 4s, but it got pretty squishy and lacking power around 17-18 min. When I drove it super aggressive, trying to keep up with Austin Blair and Curtis Door, I could only do about 15 min.

Are the shims shattering or just wearing prematurely?

What pinions are most of you using? I'm running a 17t right now, feels about right on the straights and has plenty of punch. However I need to stretch 2 x 2s SMC 7200's to make a 20 min main, and wondering if I should go down to a 16t, or maybe just set the current limit to around 70%? Or both?

I'm running the 2000kv T8 motor.
