yeah ... only problem is the car won't have the same expectations out of you lol, or, she may want you to have a longer "chassis" which unlike RC isn't just swap and go

At this point no one that I am aware of but I know of some one about to come out with their whole line in 5mm bullets.

With the reduced weight perhaps motoring down some wouldn't be a problem? Is the Serpent heavy to begin with?

Motoring down for races at the tiltyard is like taking a knife to a gunfight

Honestly the factory says that until they have some major break through in technology that for a shorty pack about 46-4800mah is the max they can fit into the case. If they could get to the 5000-5500mah range the packs would be heavy and weigh the same as a standard length 2S pack in the same mah range. The Mah is what adds the weight to the batteries.

LMAO!

I'm good, living in Indy now. Good to see you back on the RC scene.

I'm not entirely sure on the Pro4 stuff, but I have seen guys testing out 1/8's running 4x4 SC electrics in with good results. The motors are much lighter than a 2050kV.

Yaaaa, it is.. We are just hitting 50 deg for the 1st time today.. LOL and we still have a bunch of snow on the ground yet.

I was wondering if anyone has ran 10+ on an 8.5 in a 2wd SC yet with a shorty? If so, which one?
