Man I should get into the battery business. Sh*t is out of stock, everywhere. Every good battery, out of stock. They can't make enough of them I guess.

I would definitely preorder the SMC batteries so you can get some from the next lot.

I agree with maddog. They are by far the most superior price-performance setup out there

I just put together my 3.0 that I got lightly used roller. All I need is a servo horn and am looking at a better servo rather than my Savox 1256tg that was around $80-90$. I am wondering what type of servo horn I should get that will fit.. And also what's a better servo for an 1/8th scale e buggy that is under $130ish.
Please give me some suggestions for those 2 items so I can be up and running
Thanks

Also what are some mods to do and what parts tend to break where I should keep a spare.
Links would be greatly appreciated.
Also does anyone have a link of where to buy the battery forward mod parts link or a how to link would be appreciated!
Thanks guys

This works for servo horn http://www.amainhobbies.com/rc-cars-...sa99032/p13553
I would think the 1256 would be good actually. A little slow, not too bad though.

I love my HiTec HS-7940TH servo, but new I don't think it meets your price requirement ($150 at most places). It's fast as hell and fits perfectly in my 3.0E.

Hey folks, I know I want 4s for the buggy and the higher the mAh the higher the runtime. What C rating do I want? Trying to find a battery in stock somewhere for this thing.

I was told to stick with 40c and above. I'm going to be ordering some SMC 5200 70c as soon as come back in stock. I have some SMC 3s pack and am very happy with them.

Over 300 for two batteries?!!!! You must be smoking something. Unless you plan to compete against pro racers and have reedy sponsor you soon I would NEVER spend that much on just two batteries.

Actually I was smoking something, when I ordered. But I wasn't when I was researching. I got a 3.0 arriving next week and I want to have these by then. Most places will not tell you when they will ship and I'm impatient SMC? Preorder only for anything comparable. No ETA listed. NO SALE. Couldn't find anything anywhere that is actually IN STOCK. That's with expedited shipping for $20
