Man anyone that didn't see this coming must be asleep at the wheel. TLR/Losi has had this pattern for a while now. The Strike went on sale and about a month or so later the xxx-sct comes out, the xxx-sct goes on sale and what do you know the 22SCT comes out, the SCTE and the 8ight nitro go on sale and.............wait for it......the SCTE 2.0 and the 8ight 3.0 come out about a month later. The 2.0 E has been on sale and since the 3.0 nitro came out you would have to have been blind not to see this coming. Wake up and smell the roses.
Looks like September 10th is the ETA for Horizon.

I totaly understand... I feel your Pain. Brother it's all going to be OK. You and I will enjoy our 3.0 E while they wish they were Racing a TLR E Buggy. Remember the SCTE 2.0 took a lil while to come out did'nt it.
You can update as you wish ,and when you do just sell your chassi to a nitro guy.
Dont even sweat it,(bigbadbasher) we are all in the TLR family.. and ALL you who rubb it in our faces because we ar Loyal TLR guys an buy what comes out because we trust the company we love.
Take a step back and look at your self.

I can understand going to a whole new version. I have a 2.0 but i just bought the 3.0 Nitro what, 3 weeks ago? Converted it only to find out 3 weeks later that a different chassis E version is released? They could of said we are working on an E version instead of letting all the people buy the nitro version and convert it knowing damn good and well they was about to release an E version but failed to mention that. There is a difference in needing money to keep the business and hobby alive and screwing loyal customers. Justifying it by saying "you should of known" isn't very justifiable imho.
Either way like stated above, it is only money. In the short 4 or 5 months i been in this hobby i have dropped some SERIOUS $ in this hobby (it's easy to do). I just feel shafted is all and im sure im not the only one.

I went ahead and ordered the new kit.. Might as well dump another stack in this hobby! The differences between the Nitro and E version is pretty drastic, you can see plain as day the E version is going to corner better than a converted one..
