Had a friend ask me what the stock shock springs where on his 2.0? I can't remember for certain what rates they where from the stock kit springs, anyone have that info on hand?

The kit setup was Blue (3.9) front and Orange (3.0) rear. If I recall correctly, I think there was a running change in the kits to include a Silver (3.3) rear spring, so may depend on how new his kit is.

I just got the updated Version 3 ball bearing Ackerman plate from Vision Racing. It uses smaller bearings and has a narrow profile. No need to grind or custom fit. I needed to replace my bell crank bearings and decided to upgrade the ackerman plate. I was very happy with my old set, but this one is even better. Check them out.

I second that and also highly recommend them.
When I first looked into these it was mostly because I needed a short link to add to my tuning options. But the fact they have bearings that won't ream out over time while keeping things tied up tight and true has become the best thing about them outside of dropping considerable weight from the stock steel link.
From what I can tell the newer links are just as good as the original pieces in dexterity, but with no need to shave down the bell crank to allow for clearance.
I personally didn't mind having to hone the older one's fitment, but with the revision it's a drop in replacement deal. Simple as that really.

Have any of you guys ran the Orion 8.1 on your SCTE? I have acquired one in a deal that I bought. Trying to decide rather to move my old RX8 from my truggy and use the Orion on the Short course or vice versa. I have read that the Orion may be down on power on 2S which doesn't make sense to me?

Has anyone run these on asphalt, basically onroad racing? I know they aren't really designed for it, but curious if anyone has a good base starting point for set up?

I recently bought a scte 1.0 (I think), and love it. I just ordered the scte -> 22 shock conversion. It came with a tekin 4300 prohd, mamba monster 2 esc. It has 2 pieces of carbon fiber (not shock towers), and the rest i think is stock. what would be some good upgrades or other items to get? I have 13 and 16t pinions. My batts are 5000mah 25, 50c 2s. I just ordered a 8000mah 3s 30c. I saw that the tlr tuning kit and mip pro4mance kits are discontinued, so making it a 2.0 or mip is kinda harder..

I've been searching all night for a tuning kit, or the mip pro4mance kit with the chassis and have had no luck. My shock upgrade arrived today, and I was hoping to find a conversion kit to 2.0 or mip but can't. Thanks for the links to the tuning kit, but unfortunately it's discontinued.. ]:

That's the only site that I've found that has it, and it's $275. All the sites that say discontinued are a fraction of that.. :/ I want the upgrade, but $275 seems steep, since I can get a used 2.0 roller for under $200.
