i just got my 2.0 i own 1.0 big difference not only in layout but in driving handling and how fast power is transfered to ground all being positive .i also own 22 sct which has placed me so far beyond where i am due to its ease to drive and handling losi is a great company to invest with and guys that own 1.0 buy 2.0 due to compatability
alot of parts can be salvaged or spares which you almost never need anyway
as to tekno fan on the 2 tracks i race the teckno has not placed better than 6 top 5 wer 1234 losi 5 ae 6 teckno so you go back to your own thread or maybe us losi fans should start going to that thread commenting on how many chapionships teckno has

I use double sided red Parma tape. It's thick and has some absorption and allows the esc to wiggle a bit, but has help up to indoor and outdoor racing without any problems.

I went the double sided tape route. The rx8 doesn't look like is moving any time soon. Are you racing carpet this saturday?

TQ'ed and won first race with my 2.0 but broke a rod end off the rear torque rod. Seems like a weak point on the truck. Any other rear chassis braces that any one else has tried? Kingheadz made a few options for the 1.0 but do they fit the 2.0? I am guessing the mounting holes are not in the same spot? Is anyone running without the rear chassis brace? Thanks!

Seems like there is a lot slop in my center outdrives for being brand new, are you guys adding extra shims under the outdrive pins or anything?

For my 1.0 I made a torque rod for my King Headz chassis from two HPI rod ends and a Lunsford 3.5MM titanium tie rod from a T-Maxx. It has lasted 1.5 seasons an tons of practice with no problems. That one titanium tie rod might even be lighter than the big aluminum rod that makes up the Losi torque rod, but I haven't had them both off the trucks at the same time to weigh them.

Because it is a turnbuckle, and you can get different length HPI rod ends, you can tailor the length to suit your chassis.

Works the best right now ,and I would buy two more while your at it and have a spare!!Make sure the end is tight to the rod although it is something that may break but usually does not from what I have seen.Google build tips SCTE 2.0 and build them that way and You will be good to go.!! P.S. Congrats on the Win as well..!!

I used the Great Planes Foam servo tape from the hobby store to mount my ESC on my 1.0 so far it sticks pretty good no movement still sticking !

Thanks guys for the tips on the rear torque rod! I will pick up a new rod end and make sure I build it exactly like Hacker stated in his post.

Any tips on how to get more of a sharper turning radius, I race at SDRC raceway which has some tight turns and it's killing me
