The hinge pins look OK to me, and the arms are moving freely. I can plainly see the difference in length between the shocks themselves, so I'll have to start with that. How many limiters should be in there?

A tower or C tower-difference?
I purchased a used 4.2 from one of the members here and notice it has the C rear hub tower with an unshaved chassis brace with no washer. From what I can tell this is a high grip setup. Our outdoor track is medium grip and goes down from there.
Would I benefit from ordering and changing back to an A tower? Thanks |

For any of those interested that still have a B4.2 I have a spare parts car with a couple of chassis and a custom body. Would be willing to trade for a servo.

Try the c hub and shaved brace. I liked it on a low to medium bite track better than the a hub.

Antenna Question
I got a plastic replacement antenna for my b4.2. This thing is 12" long!
It looks like there are a few extra inches coiled up in the receiver box. How long should I make mine? |

In the cases where it can be it is important to cut it to a specific length. The length is part of the tuning to the wavelengths it is receiving. If you are asking about how tall the antenna should be, if it's a 2.4GHz radio you have lots of options. Many don't run a antenna tube at all, just leave the wire on the chassis, some run a short (say 3~4") tube, some run the full tube. If not a 2.4GHz deal probably best to run the full or nearly full height. |
It's a 2.4 radio. The stock set up for a RTR b4.2
Thanks |

Presume shaving the brace level with the rest of the "U" right?
the above setup is actually my home track. I'm switching this up to mod and using the avid setup, thoughts on gearing my 8.5? I think I only have the 81t spur or the smaller 72t. Thoughts? momo |
Getting my B4.2 dialed in but I stripped out the stock servo horn. Can I get some suggestions on which aluminum horn to use? Thanks.

Losi 22 series fits fine . or just replace the plastic one , would rather blow a horn than a $100+ servo.

Hello everyone
I am running the v2 shocks with bb springs on my b4.does any one have a link or know were I can get the red O rings and black O rings for the top of the shocks. In bulk rather than a hobby shop on ae parts thanks |
Hey guys,
I'm new to racing and picked up a B4.2 with a trinity 6.5 duo 3 mod motor and a a speed passion reventon speed control. I believe most people run 8.5-10.5 in the local mod class. Will this setup be able To be dialed in to what I need ? |
