I'm new to this and just got a b4.2 buggy with a tekin rs gen 2 esc with a trinity d3.5 17.5 maxzilla motor? I run on an indoor track/clay and needing some help or opinions on the spur/pinion gear that people have found best work??? Please give me some opinions to the best for fast good stock racing! All will be much appreciated...

Thanks!

That's pretty much what I run in my 4.2 and I was running 34/69 but I recently changed to 35/66 to try to get a lil more out of it. Running the triad slipper. Blinky stock class.

okay but if i move just one more spline on the servo arm it seems to lean over a lot.

I'm running 32/66 and am very happy. Comes off about 145-150

Who makes a 66 tooth gear. The smallest in our area is 69.

Thanks Chris

What timing on your trinity d3.5 can do you run at? 0*?

I have it cranked as far as it will turn, 15*, for some reason it won't go any further...

And with that 69 gearing with the 15* was it pretty fast?

I try to google the answer but still needs help please. Indoor clay track; medium bite. My b4 push when enter corner. My logic is that if i can loosen the rear end a bit, then i may have less push when i enter corner. And, if i can increase front end traction, push will be reduced? Thanks

Try the 25 degree front hub or 20 degree and bar code tires. It's what I use and the turn in is nice. And almost no push

I have found out from experimentation that a push is usually a result of tire combinations. Either too much rear grip or not enough front traction. Either go with a rear tire with less traction or a front tire with a little more traction.
