Here is the titanium shelf that I am using in my B4's and T4... We use .063" Ti on some projects so the scrap is always available... One man's trash is another man's RC parts.

I actually put the ESC and Receiver on the tray. It allows me to use full size and shorty packs. I will get a pic of it with everything mounted here shortly...

Im currently running no spacing on the tower just some dremel work like the .2 tower has molded in, 2mm on the arm to space the shock out and the shorter ball stud on my hub and dont believe i am experiencing any rubbing issues even with the b44 arms that flex more. Theres a reasonable amount of clearance between the spring on my big bores and the camber link.
The rubbing occurs if you build the 4.2 per the directions of the kit with the updated rear tower. Not based off the directions that come with the big bore spring kits with spacers. The arm flexes on landings of jumps and scraps the bottom shock cap and the lower end of the body. The fix which should end up as an addendum to the manual was posted a page or two back. You can also just use additional spacers on the bottom and live with the shocks angled backwards which looks odd. Either way works and will prevent the camber link from rubbing.

See the plastic shelf with the counter sunk screws on the rear brace. The lipo strap slides under this shelf.

These could be a nice fix. It's the shock pivot ball with integrated spacer from Yaiba Racing.

Angle of the pic. Looks like a rear T brace cut down and used like someone else mentioned. You can use the existing screw holes also.. no measuring/drilling.

if you use a flat piece (cf... plastic) and not the t-plate, you will want to put a 1mm or 2mm spacer in between the u-brace and the esc-plate.
