Nevermind I just looked at the CVA...they would of threaded into the coupler that slides into the open end of the CVA bone.
At least, I'm pretty confident that would of been it.
thanks Matt.
haha looks like ya beat me to it up there ^^^
thanks again!

I'm running the tapered 2x1.6 with Kyosho springs, and they car felt awesome. Lots of low speed dampening made it very plush. It did feel a little softer in the corners, so I went up half a weight on the oils to 32.5/30. It's very nice, but we have a monster triple, with a tiny lander, and I'd swear I lost some pack. I want to give the the 1.5s a try.

Ya it was late.. Here they are:
I felt bad putting the blue stuff back on (the spacers and stuff) but I had no choice until later this weekend). I also know about the transmission screws, because I know someone will say something.
[sorry for crappy photos, doesn't matter tho the pictures dont do justice]

Thumb screws, new wiring, and servo mounts: http://i.imgur.com/mIvhzkl.jpg
Their packaging: http://i.imgur.com/ANdBKJ7.jpg
They were out of hubs and bellcranks so I will get those at a later date.
Also so far I would have to say they clean up very easily and nice, just kinda got a papertowel wet and wipe it down, cleaned up really good.

If you don't use the grub screw ?
The ring can break free & slip..
Then you throw the pin resulting in a DNF

For now I have CA glue in the gap and threadlock under the whole thing. Going to go without the set screw for now.
Can always change the layout of it if something ever happens.
thanks for your input, though!

Just seems so funny that we are all looking for product introduced the better part of a decade ago

I think it was also one was drilled vs molded?? I honestly forget... I think it's been argued and debated so many times its not even funny.... Personally if I need to replace them, I just make sure that I have 2 of the same and replace em.... I have never once noticed a difference between the two
