For what types of tracks would you be interested in? I think we will be posting setup sheets soon. The setups will be fairly similar to the EB48 for the most part.

It would be for a high bite clay track.

No accident. That crapbox guy has been an annoyance since he first arrived in the SCTE thread (when he posted 50 times a day in it). I was very sad to see him considering this truck. Just trying anything to keep him from buying one and setting up camp in this thread. Because my SCTE is sold and I will be among the first to get this truck.

Yah this Catbox guy seems like an absolute idiot. If you read the EB48 thread you'll know what I mean. Apparently the SCTE thread as well? Haha.

Anyways, I love the attempt at getting him to buy the worse of two trucks, especially since I'm a firm believer that people get what they deserve. Honestly though, I'll put up with huge jumps in logic and terrible assumptions as long as his cash goes to keeping Tekno's doors open :)

Phreak and Cat box, take it to pm's. Or better yet, arrange a cage match, and put it on YouTube! I'd love to see that!! Figure 3 rounds, followed by a 10 minute race!! Loser stays off rctech forever, and allows the rest of us to enjoy the forum:D

I have to agree about one thing... cat box has been asking every manner of question on the EB48 thread, but can't even decide to buy the buggy. I don't mind someone asking legit questions about a car they own in order to make the experience better, but he has been fence riding for months, and now can't race til spring!! Should have bought it sooner dummy!
I hate it when someone comes on a thread and bashes the title company:flaming: This thread should be about support for the car in question, and to answer any questions for potential owners, not to bash the product.

I LOVE my Tekno buggy, and am almost peeing myself waiting for the SCT. The buggy has had a few teething problems, but the outstanding customer support makes those issues trivial.
Those of you waiting...Order the truck, order the buggy, assemble, race, and enjoy!!

AGREED!!!!!!

1+

Yeah someone was in the eb48 thread talking about the losi being the most durable buggy! I could care less about that i know and most of us know these tekno kits are true racer kits and they are durable as hell. The friggin guy has 250 post a month most sre friggin nonsense!

Btw what drills are everyone using to drill out their pistons?

Happy holidays and dont drink and R/C have a DD

beaven 12-24-2012 06:22 AM

catbox~

If this is your goal by posting in ANY thread, then you need to move on. Consider this a warning...if you can't post constructively, then say nothing at all.

Thanks.

Hi guys,

We've been working real hard to make sure everything is just right. We got a sample kit in and we have approved for packaging. Needless to say, we aren't going to ship in time for Xmas or the new year, but our January release looks really solid. Should be early January.

We'll post up our new setup sheet (blank, editable, and savable), as well as a couple that are filled out for high bite clay and for outdoor conditions. They are basically the same except for minor changes on tires and droop.

Anyone wondering if we'll have enough trucks in the first batch, don't worry. However, the first production batch will be broken into a few shipments. The first couple shipments are sold through, but the time between shipments should only be a week or so, not months. We can't answer any questions about who is guaranteed in the first shipment, etc. We simply don't know and don't want to tell anyone the wrong info. We'll be sending them out to our dealers and distributors as soon as we receive them.

We hope everyone has a great holiday and a happy new year!
