This would actually raise your roll center. But yes, it will give you more steering as lowering the link resembles a shorter link and will make it more responsive. I like to think of it as....up=dumbs it down, low= wakes it up

Any recommendations on a new radio? You don't even want to know what Im using now. I need a new affordable radio so I can start making better adjustments with everything. I can't do any of that one my current rtr cheap radio. Ha.

alternative hubs
Has anyone tried the 12mm hexes on from STRC? Tekno Aluminum hubs are backordered everywhere, and I am tired of the stockers.

heard on another forum that these can work on the sct410 as a rear inner hingepin holder after the guy broke the stock one:

+3mm SC10 wheels with stock plastic hexes rub on my Tundra Flowtek body unless you camber the hell out of it. Not sure how serious as I haven't raced it yet.
Surprisingly though the SC10 body clears them, it's about 1/4" wider at the fenders. The stock SC10 wheels fit with either body. I want to get aluminum hexes, but I'm a little hesitant if it means less wheel fitment. I really like the flanged AE hexes too as I feel its much less likely to bend the wheel center, and gives the plastic no place to strip out. The AE wheels are very thin in the center, so probably not the best choice. |
If I bought mine from fresh inventory a few weeks ago, should the hardening on my stub axles be better than the first batch? I guess I'll get some spares anyways.

heck, I wonder if another company like STRC makes those RC8 ones in there variety of colors and they could work then? could just buy 1 brace at that point versus the tekno 2 pack.

Me personally I like the Futaba 4PL radio. I also like how futaba has antenna-less receivers available. |
I mentioned before that you can use the HPI Blitz aftermarket hex if you drill it carefully to 6mm in the center and use a few small shims behind the hex. They dont clamp on but they have a set screw to hold them on.
