BTW I also snatched up a couple of those Promatch batteries since the SMC's might not be here for at least another few weeks ......
I talked to my son last night and he said his Gens Ace 4s packs are dying. I'll let him know about these Value Hobby packs. I just ordered some of the Promatch yesterday, I'll have him try these out. Thanks!!!

I've noticed bad nose down only when hitting the jump wrong, or it is an awkward jump transition to begin with. For the most part, my truck (box stock setup) jumps pretty level and is controllable in the air.

yup, that where I saw it too, mainly on the jumps at the track I posted videos of were very abrupt. When the jump had more of a take off it wasn't an issue.

But when it was, it was pretty bad lol. But outside of that, it was really kickbutt everywhere else with some tuning for track conditions. And even with the nose down issue, it was consistent, something that at times my Sc10 4x4 just didn't feel like on jumps.

Hey head's up fellas the Vant 7200mah 2s lipos are in stock at The Barn Floor here: http://thebarnfloor.com/catalog/prod...6#.UV2-6L-9Kc0

I've heard good things about them as well, I'll report back on performance as soon as mine gets here. Good price point and warranty as well.

looks good. Wish they had a 5mm bullet option though like the IPs but still nice for the price.

Has anyone used these? I've been waiting for the SMC's to come back in stock, but so many delays, I want to race!

I received protek's 100c 7000 mah yesterday and they have 5mm bullet connections for their batts. Nice battery I tell ya! Hadn't had a chance to run it yet but will tomorrow. I suggest if you do purchase to order their CHARGING adapter to make things easier on yourself

they are 4mm 2 plug instead of 4 plug. The IP's are 5mm plugs, but, I did get a set of adapters made cheap from promatch. very nice too.

I have heard they are good.

If you are in need now, these or the IP ones would be fine. You can make or see if promatch can make you an adapter too. That is what they did for me to turn a 5mm connector into a 4mm sized one.

Wahoooooooo!! I JUST spoke with Mike@team SR and threw out the idea of making carbon fiber hinge pin keepers. He is going to give it a go and get back to me when they're available. :-)

I had it orginally in a exo, and a prolite. The viper in my opinion beats tekin stuff. I love the viper system, you have to honestly try to make the motor hot. I would recommend it.
