From what I observed the 4 o-rings on the shock shafts keeps the universals from hitting the diff-out drives on full compression. (when you happen to land on one wheel and compress fully) This is something that Associated told owners to do to keep the diffs from leaking.

AE rear springs are too long for the rear of the vehicle. The front springs however appear to work as if I recall correctly they are 70mm . I use them on the front of mine, so far so good.
I went ahead and ordered a bunch of Hot bodies springs.

That's the same combo I have, and for some reason something's major wrong with mine atm. Gutting my RC8 for a new RX8 and Pro 4 going in till I can pinpoint the problem.
Car was guttless, and way weird to drive. Everyone felt wrong. Came straight out of my Sc10 4x4 and was the fastest car at the track. Goes into this car, and it's a POS. So confused.

Opened motor, cleaned
New sensor wire
checked solders
rebound radio
EPA play
Timing did absolutely nothing
I was having to run a 20t pinion just to kind of have the speed of my buddy who's running a pro 4 with a 13t. Major weird.

Pro4 should fix it. I felt the SC4X was down on power in my Losi. A 4-pole 540 motor fixed that.
You are going from a light truck on a low-horsepower layout, to a heavy truck on a high-horsepower layout.
I'm running a 4800 kv 4-pole w/ 14T pinion and it's not running out of gear on the straight w/ 16 degrees boost timing (0 can timing). A 20T pinon seems like it would be too tall for a 4.5T motor.

AMain from this past Sunday. That's me in the dark green hoodie, closest to the camera on the stand. I start dead last, bright green/white, yellow 22SCT wheels.

, What is the best spring kit to order to have some spring options for this truck, i have read the AE springs will not work.
