Are you sure the mark on your rim is from the screw head and not your suspension arm? I have rubbing on my rims but that's from the arm hitting at full lock.

The mark lines up with the screw but I will check to see if it is hitting the arm.

Thanks for the reply Danny -

It's not that I'm not willing to do it. I have already talked with Matt A. and he'll be providing me with the updated information.... just waiting on it to come in.

Hi rice not, trying to bash you - just know that it is a big undertaking as well, thanks for your willingness to provide info from them

I ordered a bunch of the aluminum upgrade parts and I see they have upgraded aluminum shock towers . . . is it me, or would this thing be totally pimped out with a set of Carbon Fiber shock towers?

Sweet! I will definitely pick up a set of carbon fiber towers once you have them done.

AKA all the way! Their red foams are excellent! I would grab some AKA premounts for the SCTE in whatever the hot tread is at your local track and have some fun!

Unfortunately Tony's doesnt have kits for these trucks yet, but there are very few different screws used in this thing, so It wouldnt be hard to stock up on most common used.

most kits are like packs of 20 too.

Tony Screws like to rust so they are pretty much trash as well.

Haven't had issues with his screws rusting, in general though I don't put away my vehicle wet, anything cleaned I usually hit with WD-40 as well. Not saying what you are saying isn't true, but haven't experience this. His screws have been highly durable for me, very strong stuff.

Hope you grab one of these, I think you'd like. Assisted, Will Bennett, in getting one of these in your area and says it's awesome! Wish you and your family the best!

Sleepytime 01-29-2013 05:50 PM

@Cain - I had a Tony's Screws kit on my Kyosho MP7.5 and anywhere the black coating got rubbed off it really liked to rust quickly. Course this was years ago and they might of changed to a more durable grade of metal since.
