Yeah I just bought mine 2 days ago... Almost done with the build, all electronics installed, only shocks left now.

Anyone have a good recommendation for shock oil on a clay setup (sdrc, san diego)?? I have the stock kit oil, and all losi oils every 2.5. I'll check the setups on teknorc as well.

I've never tried the squared port pistons, but have the V2 original style (blue) and like them alot ! I do have a set of Tekno 1.3's that I want to put in and compare to, but haven't got the urge to swap them all out...

I just ordered a set. I ordered the red ones though. From what I understand the blue is for smoother (maybe indoor) tracks and the red is for rougher (outdoor) tracks so the red should fit better for the majority of the tracks I'll be running on. Doesn't hurt to try, right?

I ran the CSI Blue squared V-ports from day one and liked them a lot. I have to look but I think I ran it with 27.5 front and 22.5 rear losi oil. I went down 2.5 wt from what the suggested for the Kyosho being the truck is lighter than a 1/8 buggy. I went with the Blue they were suggested by Eric at CSI.

Anyone get to try out the BMI LRC inserts yet? I'm trying to get out and test mine tomorrow on the sct410 with the stock rear toe plate, this will decrease my rear toe by .5 deg from stock. I want to try it this way first before I buy a +1.5 rear block to get me back to the stock toe setting. Update to follow.

the aluminum brace for the center diff is a good option, i like the fact that you have one less place for flex in the driveline. i got my rcshox piston kit today and just finished installing it, feels good on the bench, lol. will try to get to the track this week....
