Honestly I don't know how it will do yet, I will let you know when my truck gets here! I am coming from a pro 4 4600 in an SCTE and I loved the combo just time to try something new.

A link to the 4700 to give you an idea, these go quick i would email / call on availability.

I think the new style Tenshock motors have solder posts. I'm putting my stock SCTE RTR motor in first just to have a base line.

took a look on their site but all I could find was the 550 with wires coming out of it. The 540s though (or at least, what I think are 550s and 540s) have the posts.

Thing is a beast. I have been running one in my RC8.2e SC conversion since the summer. It will definitely power the SCT410 no probs.

After fulfilling this initial rush of orders I hope Tekno will have these puppies fully stocked a few months from now. Want one but gotta wait and see what Uncle Sam says I owe him in April.

I just looked. It's the sc401v2 that have the solder posts. They haven't got the sc411s in that configuration yet.

Tower give you an idea of how far into the order dates they will be able to fill?

Man I hate that my account got jacked ... had a dec 1st order ...

Would love to see BB make a trip up to Wild Cherry's track where the Prolite truck appears to be the new hot thing there. get a good comparison of lightweight SCT versus 1/8 based sct indoors.

You should be fine. And I'm from that track and the pro lite is really fast it also helps that Mike Brown is an extremely great driver I had to race against it last weekend with my Durango which is very fast as well but just couldn't keep up. I will say that it is a little fragile being it an RTR and probably not built for the big horsepower.

Ok thanks. Please post back on here once you get some runtime on it. I have a tekin pro 4 4600 already and a Trackstar 4.5T 550 2 pole motor. I wouldn't mind trying something new too.

Not sure what it said before but I think the status on my backorder at Tower has changed, it now shows "In Process". I hope that is a good thing.

Also, anyone here planning to run a 550 2 pole motor, if so which one?

I'm planning on trying out my Trackstar 4.5T 550 2 pole at first when my sct410 gets here. It throws my heavy SCTE around with authority so it should do good in the Tekno too I would think.
