First thing I would check is if the shaft is bent. Doesn't take much of a bend to bind up the shaft. Like advpball said roll it on a piece of glass.
Does anyone have a good setup for high grip carpet with 1.6/1.7 stock pistons? Or what setup should I try with stock springs/sway bars?

You can find plenty of setups here for any surface and grip conditions you need

My 15 running saddles is still quicker on my local outdoor track , than my 16 with shorty configuration. Its a low traction track so I've bought the medium side guards, chassis braces etc rest of the set up is identical.
-fastest time with 15 single lap 22.048 and race 14 laps in 5min 20.478 sec
-fastest time with 16 single lap 22.635 and race 13 laps in 5 min 5.106 sec
Track conditions have been identical and use brand new tyres every second run.
Im comparing these times with running 4 race meets with the 16 and doing
10 race meets with the 15
anyone else slower with their 16 compared to their 15 in low traction ?
The only thing i can put it down to is running saddles on low traction is faster for
me.

On lower traction that has helped.

Is that just outdoor or indoor too, Because I think my 16 is alittle faster indoors being its a shorter chassis now and can turn better/faster. as its winter here and we are not running outdoors yet i have yet to run my 16soec outdoors.

I guess the best analogue I can make regarding the ECS front and rears helping on low traction as well would be the following. Lots of people balance their wheels for better performance. The ECS fronts and rears are basically a much more balanced while rotating more freely through out the constant travel within the suspension. Their rotation under and off power is very precise, thus not sloppy, not wobbly, but nice and tight, while rotating with less friction, vibration etc.. Smoother delivery of power to the wheels.

Anyone have recommendations for narrower pinion gear brands, thus grub screw being closer to the teeth. It's been a little bit if a pain trying to obtain a full pinion to spur mesh as with motor mount preventing blocking access to the grub screw. Was thinking about dremeling a channel on the motor mount itself but I would rather not if there is a brand of pinion gears that work better.

Thank you as I really did not want to drop $16 for XRAY pinions. Their nice however a tad to expensive plus I just picked up a bunch of new SWorks pinions.

Does anyone know if the 81mm cvd fits ok combined with the 95mm cvd for the centre drive line?
